After four years of hard work you are finally there. The big day is coming up and you are running around preparing for everything. Gathering a defense committee, arranging the dates and travel plans, flying parents and relatives over, and inviting friends and colleagues. It is going to be a day that celebrates your achievements in the last four years. We would like to help you cherish the occasion by offering you our professional service with photographing the events of your PHD defense*.

THE WORKFLOW
If you are interested in hiring us to take photos at your defense, please first contact us by phone or e-mail.

Confirming the date
Once we have confirmed that we are available at the needed date and time, you will be sent an invoice and requested to complete the payment.

On the day of the defense
The photographer will join you 15 minutes before you the defense to capture the events of your preparations. The photographer will then take photos during the presentation, the defense itself, the diploma ceremony, and the reception afterwards.

Post processing
We will perform some photo retouching to insure that all images look perfect.

Final delivery
Within one month after the defense you will receive the following:

• The chosen best photos (between 100-200 photos) of the day’s events in full resolution digital format with full copying and printing rights.
• You will receive a link to download the files online. The link will be available for one week. Future requests to re-upload the files are possible for an extra fee of €20.
• As a free optional service, we can provide an on-line gallery of your defense photos which you can immediately share with your friends and family.
• Printed photos or photo-books of the photo-shoot. Additional printing fees apply
